The earthshaking developments of the week
1. The Supreme Court of Canada expansively redefines freedom of association to include collective bargaining. This will affect the ability of Government to legislatively resstric unionisation. A good balance me thinks- in an age where Government has been bought and paid for.
2. Calgary is turning. Klein's old provincial seat falls to the Liberals. Just when Conservatives think that rural Quebec will save their bacon, urban Albertans will slowly turn away.
3. Mastercard rates London as the top commercial cetnre in the world. I wonder if London has seen these heights since pre-World War I.
4. I am drawing down my Facebook usage. It is killing me. Actually I am killing me by using Facebook.
